Feathered Fun
Join our fun and interactive upcycling workshop for kids, where creativity knows no bounds! In this hands-on session, children will learn to cut plastic bottles into feather shapes, then paint and decorate them in their own unique styles. Once their colorful feathers are ready, they’ll arrange and attach them onto picture frames, creating personalized art pieces that showcase their imaginative flair. This workshop not only fosters creativity and self-expression but also teaches kids the importance of recycling and repurposing materials in a fun and engaging way!
This workshop is suitable for ages 5-12.
Adult supervision is required for your child to attend workshop please only book ticket for your child.

Held over two weekends in February and for many venues, week days in between and Waitangi Day, the Mahurangi Artist Studio Trail brings together artists from many disciplines, schools and techniques. This is your chance to see the working areas of local artists, talk to them about their ideas, watch amazing skills in action, maybe buy some special pieces of art or be inspired to do something for yourself.
